Abstract:
Marxism in the 21st-century left aside what might be Marx’ fundamental contribution, that is, the theory of fetishism. This development is at the core of Marx’ critical approach and, at the same time, a discovery of the real life underlying the apparent reality of modernity. Marx’ methodological reflection deals not only with Hegelian dialectics, but also with modern reality in itself.
