Abstract:

In this piece, we will draw a few general traits of a human being who left us a monumental task, after having opened a new trail in the global history of philosophy and critical thinking. Juan José Bautista was born in La Paz, Bolivia, on December 27, 1958, to Aymara-descent Ana Hortensia Segales, a housewife, and to Pablo Bautista, a cobbler. He was the third among five children, and was raised between La Paz and the Anapia island, on the Titicaca lake, where he stood in his numerous pilgrimage journeys.
