Abstract:

This article aims to show that the category of overexploitation of labor —which forms the basis and axis of the capital cycle in a dependent economy— is overdetermined by a set of second-order mediations, such as class struggle, power, culture, etc. in which it is immerse. To show this, we use Aristotle’s classification of the categories we link to dialectical wholeness, to conclude that overexploitation is only understood to its fullest extent by overcoming the limited framework of economism.

Keywords: Mediations of superexploitation, Capital cycle, Dependency Theory.
