Abstract:
This article aims to provide an autoethnographic analysis of our place of embodied enunciation as a killjoy questioning archive —a place from which we conduct our research work in the Social Anthropology graduate programs. We seek to place special emphasis on the impacts of our fieldwork, as Laura in the Government Resocialization Program for Homeless People “Centro Día”, and Fabi at the Eduardo Santos Educational Institution, both based in the city of Medellín, Colombia. We both are read as “women.” In this analysis, we suggest understanding the research experience as a sexualized, affective, socio-critical, self-reflexive, and disca practice having ethical, political, and sexual implications.
Keywords: place of enunciation, killjoy ethnographers, fieldwork, anthropological research, precarious contexts.
